It all started at a friend's birthday BBQ in Fort Collins, Colorado. Little did they know, they had been living in the same town with a similar group of friends for 3 years without meeting. It wasn't until the end of college at this very BBQ that Ethan first laid eyes on Melanie and introduced himself. They planned a date and comically went to different locations of the same restaurant, leading them both to think they were being "stoop up." Eventually they figured out the mistake and the rest is history.
