What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is black-tie optional. Ladies can wear floor-length formal dresses, gentlemen can wear dark-colored suits with the option of tuxedos (please no jeans!). Colors and patterns are welcome!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 p.m., please arrive by 2:00 p.m. to ensure you are seated on time. Unfortunately if you are running late, you will not be able to be seated and will miss the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP on Zola. Thank you for understanding!

Is there transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to take guests from the DoubleTree hotel to the DuPont Country Club at 4:45 p.m. The shuttle will also transport guests back to the hotel after the reception. Parking is also available at the reception venue for overnight use. Please don't drink and drive! Please visit the "Schedule" section of our website for more details on the timeline of the day.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, please enjoy an open bar of beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages on us! Please drink responsibly! No outside alcohol is permitted inside the venue.

What can I do during the gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There will be about a 1.5 hour gap between the end of the ceremony and the start of the cocktail hour. Our immediate families and wedding party will be using this time to take photos. We recommend our guests use this time to check into their rooms at the hotel or hang around the hotel bar while waiting for the shuttle. Time flies when you’re having fun!
