Our celebration will be festive but relaxed—think summer formal with comfort in mind! We’d love to see guests in dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, or nice pants with a button-down or blouse. Suits and ties are welcome but absolutely not required. Choose something you’d wear to a nice summer party—light, breathable fabrics, floral prints, and fun colors encouraged! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so consider shoes that are grass- and gravel-friendly. The weather could be all over the board in Oconomowoc at the end of August, but it’s likely to range between the 60s and 80s. Don’t forget that it cools down in the evening, so please wear what makes you comfortable!
OSRUI has ample on-site parking, and all wedding festivities will take place at camp. While there are technically two entrances to camp, please be sure to use the gate on Lac La Belle Drive for the weekend. Do not use the entrance off Ski Slide Road. All guests will receive a gate access code valid for the entire weekend, so you'll be able to come and go as needed. Address: OSRUI, a URJ Camp 600 Lac La Belle Drive Oconomowoc, WI 53066
One of the aspects that we loved about hosting our wedding at OSRUI was the opportunity to have camp all to ourselves and for some of our guests to stay on-site for the weekend. We've reserved the entire camp and arranged comfortable accommodations for those staying on-site. While not quite a Ritz-Carlton, our lodging options surpass the traditional cabins typically associated with summer camps. More information on staying at camp will be sent to you. For those not staying at camp, we will be utilizing hotel blocks in the area. Information regarding the hotel blocks can be found on our website under the "Travel" tab!
Not that “campy.” All buildings have air conditioning, and there are many indoor and outdoor spaces for people to gather, hang out, and explore camp. We will be the only ones at camp, so we are excited to share the place where we fell in love with those so special to us! But it is a bit “campy,” so please don’t expect luxury. Linens and blankets will be provided for those staying onsite, but this is not a hotel. OSRUI has recently started paving more of their paths, but consider that some paths are still gravel when packing for the wedding. The water at camp comes from wells, so it is 100% safe to drink but tastes a little sulfury. Some people may bring a filtered water bottle (like a Brita), but we will also have plenty of bottled water and drinks throughout the weekend.
OSRUI will provide the meals for all meals, excluding the reception dinner. The camp kitchen is “Kosher-style,” meaning they do not serve meat and milk together and will not serve any pork products. We will have meal options for those with dietary restrictions, such as dairy-free and vegan/vegetarian options. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have a dietary restriction or food allergy; we are happy to accommodate!
We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with our beloved family and friends. We kindly ask that only those named explicitly on your invitation and RSVP join us to ensure an intimate and memorable celebration. Thank you for understanding as we prepare for this special day!
RSVPs are now open on the "RSVP" tab on this website. Please let us know if you can (or cannot) attend by July 30th, 2025, so OSRUI and our caterers can plan accordingly.
