Femon and Whitney met in college during the Fall semester of 2014 at Delaware State University (DSU). One of Whitney’s friends introduced her to Femon at a social gathering outside on campus. After running into each other a few times with conversations full of laughs, smiles, and giggles, they started to fall for one another. So, Femon and Whitney dated but sadly, their relationship ended the next semester. Still, that didn’t stop them from being friends and remaining in contact. Soon after, Femon left Delaware to continue his college education in New Jersey at Kean University. In 2017, Whitney returned back home to Queens, New York after graduating from DSU. Even though being back in Queens allowed Whitney to live closer to Femon, Femon was dating someone else at the time, so Whitney kept a friendly distance for the time being. However, two years later, in 2019, Femon graduated from college and became single. After Femon stayed to himself for some time, Femon and Whitney started to hang out more in person, in which the more they hung out, the more they started to fall for each other all over again. This time was different. The people they grew to be made them more mature and compatible for one another with a stronger love and God-centered faith. They officially became a COVID couple in June of 2020 when Femon asked Whitney to be his girlfriend. Three years later, after Femon completed his first year of law school, he knew that Whitney was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, so he made a move.. On June 17th 2023, after having lunch at Chart House in Weehawken, New Jersey, Femon walked Whitney to the end of dock right above the Hudson River. As they stood between New Jersey and New York, which represented where each of them were born and raised, he kneeled down on one knee and asked Whitney will you marry?….. of course she said through tears of joy, YES!
