COVID-19 Update

Let's try this again.... May 14 is fast approaching and Travis and I are more excited than ever to exchange our vows! We are working with the venue and within the relevant State COVID-19 guidelines to celebrate our love for each other, while maintaining safety! We can't wait to FINALLY celebrate with everyone on the 14th of May!
Question

Will you postpone again if COVID isn't gone by May?

Answer

Short answer.... no! We have no intention on postponing a second time and do plan on moving forward on the our new date, following whatever restrictions are in place at the time! Unfortunately, this may mean having a smaller guest list than originally planned, or wearing a mask from time to time. We are hopeful that as more people continue to get the vaccine and cases subside, we will be able to enjoy our day with minimum restrictions!

Question

I purchased a gift for your shower already. Is that postponed as well?

Answer

Yes. We have decided to postpone not only our wedding, but also all pre-wedding parties out of concern for everyone's safety, as well as difficulty of planning during a pandemic. If you have already purchased a gift, first of all thank you! If you would like, you can return it! If not, please hold onto for just a bit longer until we can move forward with the wedding festivities! Update: Invitations for the shower will be going out soon!

Question

Will your ceremony and/or reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

As of now, we are planning on having the ceremony outside (weather permitting) and reception inside. Please note that our venue will be following all state guidelines, but we understand that everyone has different levels of comfort in the current world we live in. If you no longer plan on attending, please let us know as soon as possible so we can extend a further invitation to fill your vacant seat.

Question

Are there capacity restrictions at your venue?

Answer

YES! We selected a somewhat smaller venue to begin with, however, due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions and guidelines, please understand that our venue is even more limited in the number of guests we will be able to accommodate for our wedding day! We understand everyone has a different level of comfort in the current world we live in! However, if you have received your invitation, PLEASE RSVP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! We appreciate your promptness as we will be able to extend any vacant seats to additional guests! On the flip side, we will be sending out notices to those of you who we unfortunately, as of now, will no longer be able to share our wedding day with. Please know that this decision was not made lightly and has been the cause of many sleepless nights and tears. We do hope as time moves forward to send out further invites, if restrictions and capacity limits allow!

Question

I received my invite. I am not comfortable going to the reception, but I would still like to come to the ceremony. Is that okay?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside. Because the current guidelines do not have capacity restrictions for outside wedding ceremonies, we welcome you to come and join us for the ceremony only, if that is what makes you feel most comfortable. If this is the case, we ask that you return your RSVP card as soon as possible to advise us that you will not be attending the reception. Please also add a note to let us know that you will be joining us for the ceremony so we can advise our venue how many people to expect for the outdoor ceremony. With that being said, if the weather does not cooperate and our ceremony needs to be pushed indoors, we are unfortunately restricted to the same capacity restrictions as we would for the reception, which we are hoping will change before the big day.
