We like to say that we met each other in high school; which is true. Our friend groups would hangout together and we knew of one another, but we just really didn't talk much. Well fast forward to the year 2018, we both were at the a friend's going away party and through the shy stares and smiles I got the courage to go up and talk to Drew first. It was very clear that we both were incredibly shy to talk, mainly on Drew's side, but through playing multiple rounds of Mario Cart with the group we ended our night talking. As the gentlemen that Drew is, he walked me to my car, opened my door, and nervously asked me out on a date. After multiple dates and getting to know each other's goofy, nerdy personalities we made it official on July 20th, 2018. Since then we have made so many incredible memories through our dates, travels, and even weekends at comic cons; yes I just said comic cons, if you know Drew and I then you know that we are nerds at heart. With binge watching tv shows and movies, with competitive rounds of video/arcade games and at the pool tables, and sharing our nerd collections, life had became nothing but love and laughter. Through the ups & downs, through the thick and thin as what couples go through, we knew that there was no one else that we would want to endure those moments with but each other. One day, January 25th, 2025, Drew woke up me and told me that he wanted to go look for Pokemon cards. Without questioning it I got dressed not realizing that our story would change that day. While driving through McKinney Drew made an unexpected stop at what we call little Italy at Adriatica Village. We walked through the trail in the village area near the lake talking and being completely oblivious, Drew took my hands, got down on one knee, and asked me be his forever. Today, we undertake the adventure of a lifetime. Drew and I are very excited to share this day with our family and friends, and are very excited to continue our lives together but as one.
