We met through mutual friends at a music venue in San Antonio — an unexpected twist considering we both grew up in the small town of Del Rio without ever crossing paths. As we began spending time together, we discovered how naturally we connected, and before long we became a couple. Together we’ve traveled to multiple countries, attended countless music festivals, and shared some of the best food we’ve ever tasted—but now we’re ready for our biggest adventure yet. Seven years and three dachshunds later, Abner proposed on Miyajima Island in Japan, surrounded by sweet grandmas in kimonos who cheered us on. Now we’re overjoyed to exchange our vows next Halloween with our closest friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
