Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport - MSY

The airport servicing the New Orleans area is in Metairie, and is a 15-20 minute drive away from downtown New Orleans. A taxi from the airport to any point in New Orleans is a $36 flat rate. Uber and Lyft rides are similarly priced. As with all major airports, rental car facilities are available. An airport shuttle booked through MSY is $44.00 per person, round trip. The Airport-Downtown Express (E2) Bus is $2.00. More details on these and other transportation options can be found at the MSY airport website which, hilariously, could easily be pronounced as "flimsy dot com". Welcome to New Orleans.
