We’ve known each other for quite some time. Going to the same church and our families being close in friendship. Our relationship began to grow as a friendship, naturally getting closer through casual conversations and church events. Both praying and waiting on God’s timing. God continued to work in our hearts and in 2017 our friendship turned into a loving relationship where we went through many happy, fun and strengthening moments ♡

An early Saturday morning in September took us to explore hiking trails in Kenora ON, Canada. We love driving out, road trips and nature. So this was no surprise, to take advantage of the weather before the snow and cold. We took many pictures with our close friends and loving family. In one of those sessions, we stopped in front of the beautiful Kenora Bay. Fall coloured trees surrounding us, getting ready to take a photo of Miguel’s family. He unzipped his sweater to reveal a t-shirt that read “Esther will you marry me?” A truly unforgettable moment that made us both tear and smile for the rest of the day ♡
