Just 35-40 minutes from the venue, Oceanside is a SoCal beach town with beautiful beaches, a historic pier, great restaurants, coffee shops (check out Better Buzz) and ocean views!
La Jolla
La Jolla is one of the most famous destinations in San Diego! You can walk along the coastline, say hi to sea lions at La Jolla Cove, browse local boutiques, soak in the ocean view, and maybe kayak (and hopefully not capsize like I did)!
Balboa Park / San Diego Zoo
About 1-1.5 hours from the venue, the San Diego Zoo is one of the most famous zoos in the world. While you’re there, you can also explore Balboa Park’s beautiful gardens, museums, and Spanish-style architecture.
