Black Tie Attire. Ladies should wear colorful, floor-length dresses. Men should wear a tuxedo. Ladies, please refrain from wearing shades of white, cream, and/or ivory as those are reserved for the bride. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass. Please plan your shoes accordingly.
While we love your little ones, this is an adult only wedding.
In order to share a personal and meaningful celebration, we are inviting only those specifically named on the invitation.
We recommend you arrive by 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please be mindful of traffic and allow yourself enough time to comfortably arrive to the venue before the ceremony start time
The ceremony will be held outdoors at the Octagonal Garden. The cocktail hour will also be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors at the Pavilion. Please dress accordingly as the summers can get hot in Charleston!
There is free parking at the venue. However, we highly encourage our guests to make use of Uber/Lyft. The roads leading up to Middleton are beautifully lined with historic trees but are also narrow and winding. We want our guests to enjoy themselves so please be responsible and book Uber/Lyft in advance.
