Our paths crossed one fall evening on top of Nob Hill in San Francisco. Michael was celebrating a friends birthday dinner at Venticello. I was celebrating a new friends wedding shower. After bouncing around the City all day and into the night, a group of us girls headed over to Venticello for one last night cap. Michael was all too happy to personally host the group of us once we arrived. He greeted the bride-to-be before he introduced himself to me. We talked for several minutes about our mutual love of dogs while Michael jumped behind the bar to show off his drink making skills. Michael's charm and wit won me over; that and his stealthy phone skills. While I was showing Michael pictures of my dog Rolan, he swiftly programed my number into his phone without me noticing. The following day we set up a "doggie play date" and the rest is history.

South Lake Tahoe's Kiva Beach was the picturesque site for our proposal. Our most beloved dog walking trail on the sandy shore of Tallic Point took a surprise turn into a proposal. Michael took a knee in the sand and I said "YES!!!"
