The year was 2015 and it was a cold and foggy winter evening in San Francisco. Esthee was visiting her friend in the Bay Area that weekend. That same friend had invited Kevin to join them for dinner and drinks. The two officially met at dinner that night, which was filled with food, cocktails, and awkward small talk. Upon the conclusion of dinner, and a few drinks later, the group put their dancing shoes on and decided to head to everyone's favorite throwback R&B and hip hop dance spot, Raven Bar. Per the usual, the music was on point. After a few more rounds, and some light casual dancing, mid-sip into their libation, they suddenly stopped, eyes now wider than the ocean. “One, Two Step” by Ciara started playing. Excited to show off his YouTube-sourced dance moves, Kevin quickly began to one two step to the beat. As he turned around, he thought his eyes were deceiving him. Esthee was also one, two stepping to the beat. After a few "AYEEE's", "okayyyy", and "oOo kill em's", the party said their farewells and stumbled home. A few months later, Kevin asked Esthee out for the first time... to a dance club. Tempted with a good time, Esthee couldn't refuse and the two enjoyed a night out doing what piqued their interest in the first place... danced.
