It all started with a mutual friend who told me, "You'll love him. He's just like you, but a guy". We met, we clicked, and later on our very first date was basically a movie scene...only wetter. Picture this: two people on a bench, in the rain, talking for HOURS about everything and nothing, completely forgetting the rest of the world existed. No fancy dinner, no distractions. Just us, but a little more soggy. From there, things only got weirder… in the best possible way. We bonded over our shared love of all things nerdy, loud, delicious, and delightfully strange. We completed each other in similar and yet, different ways. He's the chef, I'm the baker. We're both metalheads with soft hearts. And somewhere between the shared playlists, the midnight snacks, and the constant laughter, I realized something huge: I couldn’t picture my life without him in it. So of course, he proposed... right back on that same rain-soaked bench where it all began. He was nervous (adorably so), red in the face, clearly trying to keep a secret and doing a terrible job. And then he said: "Will you be with me for the rest of MY life?" (He’s convinced I’ll outlive him. Im not arguing.) I may or may not have ruined the moment by asking, “So... Aren't you supposed to get down on one knee or what?” But he did. Right there in the mud. After I eventually said yes, the rain stopped, the sun broke through the clouds, and turtles came to the top of the pond and it was like even the universe was rooting for us. And now here we are. Still weird. Still laughing. Still stealing each other's food. Still in love. And so excited to share this next chapter with all of you.

Fueled by coffee, curiosity, and a passion for seasoning everything to perfection, Estevan somehow turns every dinner into a full-blown event. He’s the man with a soft spot for cats, good tequila, and the grill—always ready to cook up something memorable. A soft-hearted soul, Estevan has an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what Emma needs... whether it’s a quiet moment with a slice of pizza or expertly parallel parking through Philly traffic, even if it means swapping seats on the fly. He’s the heart behind the playlists and the reason the family knows too much about space and the Mario Brothers. Charismatic to a fault, loud when it counts, and endlessly spirited. Estevan is the kind of thinker who’ll happily go on a tangent, whether it's about the origins of a dish, the life cycle of a Blanket octopus, or the quirks of ancient Roman plumbing. Thanks to him, everyone’s full, happy, and maybe even a little wiser by dessert.

Emma is a glass-half-full (but still very thirsty) kind of woman, with a heart overflowing with sugar and just the right amount of sarcasm. She’s a lover of cozy corners, dancing in the rain, and blasting music while inventing new baking experiments. The sweet-tooth of the household, Emma is the undisputed baker... just follow the flour trail, and you’ll find her joyfully twirling in the kitchen. She’s the proud owner of a very dignified tuxedo cat named Shaka… though Estevan might insist Shaka belongs to him now. Emma is the heartbeat behind the beautiful chaos. A mushy soul who’s most likely to cry during Pixar trailers, yet somehow laughs even harder at her own jokes than Estevan does (and he’s a close second). She’s the one you thank when you’re too full to move after dinner... and quite possibly the very reason dessert exists in the first place.

We love these two with all our hearts, so much that we’d move mountains for them. They light up our lives with their wonderful and perfectly whacky ways. Charlotte: She’s another music lover of the family, rocking colorful hair and a vibe that might look a little fierce, but don’t be fooled. Beneath that tough exterior is a soul of gold: kind, deeply empathetic, and fiercely loyal. She’s discovered a passion for cooking, but fair warning... you never want to see her and Estevan in the kitchen at the same time. They will butt heads over how its done! The family’s rule follower, she’s also the one who might shed the biggest tears at the wedding (even more than Emma!). Iris: Sassy, spunky, and a bit of a pip, she’s the wild spirit who keeps us all on our toes. Loud and fearless, she takes after her dad with a mischievous streak a mile wide. By night, she becomes our sneaky gremlin—stealing snacks, sprinkling glitter everywhere, and making sure there’s never a dull moment. She’s our rainbow, bursting with laughter and full of surprises, reminding us daily that life is best lived with a little sparkle and a whole lot of kick-ass sass.
