A vow renewal is a celebratory ceremony for a married couple to reaffirm their commitment to each other. Ours is incredibly informal. It's more like an anniversary party with our loved ones.

Why are Daren & Esterina renewing their vows?

It’s been 10 years! 10 years of a LOT of love and some tough times. 2021 was a particularly transformative year, and we are at our healthiest and happiest. After a short separation we are ready to re-commit to a stronger than ever marriage, and celebrating this time with our friends and family

Does this ceremony have a theme?

Answer

Yes. The theme is nautical, showcasing nautical knots. Our wedding in 2011 had rain right as the ceremony ended. The staff kept up the quote that a wet knot doesn’t slip!

How should I dress?

Answer

Comfy and casual. We will be outside in October. The weather could be warm or cool, so layers are best.
