Maid of Honor
Jenna and I worked at summer camp together (cute). Behind the main part of camp was a trail for the golf carts - The Super Trail. Jenna would hang out with me after her hours were over and I was still working. We took that trail at top speed singing as loudly as we could. And giggling. And almost falling out of the golf cart. Laughing with Jenna is always my favorite.

One of my favorite memories with Nat is when we went camping in Congaree together. We walked one of the longest trails there and didn't realize the trail led back out to the road. We were both so tired that instead of walking the trail back, we just walked on the side of the road (slightly shorter) the several miles back to our campsite, while blasting the Black Panther soundtrack and singing along. Any time spent with Nat is something I treasure.

You don't always get to say this about friends, but the two of us have seriously been friends for as long as I can remember. My favorite memory with Jenna is when we were in kindergarten, and she was coming over to my house to play for the first time ever. We were so excited in class that we couldn’t stop talking and laughing; so, Jenna got in trouble and had to move her card down from green to yellow. That was the last year we were ever in the same class! I am so thankful we've been friends ever since.

From belting out “Dancing Through Life,” to tagging along when he dyed his hair blond, to the time he drove our carpool backwards down a county highway after missing a turn, I quickly learned Nat keeps you on your toes. My favorite memories with him are all the times we sat around a campfire with a Summer Shandy or two, laughing and talking about life. If there’s one thing about Nat, he’s always fully present when it matters, even if his directions definitely cannot be trusted.

So many of my favorite memories of Jenna include our camping trips. Whether we are napping in our hammocks, lying under the stars, or cooking elaborate dinners over the fire, we are laughing. I also love tricking Jenna into doing a hike she doesn’t want to do - those are the moments I cherish the most! But honestly, every day with Jenna is a joy—watching each other clean (for moral support), laughing through yoga, or driving to work each morning. Life is sweeter, funnier, and better with her in it.

I have only known Nat for about 28 years, but I feel like that means I’m fully qualified to say that’s he’s always been an amazing guy. We’ve been on multiple road trips together, including the time we got lost in the Black Hills because the GPS definitely knew where it was taking us. I was lucky enough to join him on some of his first trips, back when we thought driving through the night to end up at Grammy and Bobby’s house at 4 am was a smart plan. He’s a loyal friend and a great brother, and I am honored to stand next to him.

My favorite memory of Jenna is meeting her at IU and immediately knowing I was going to make her be my best friend! My funniest memory with her is when Liv asked Jenna and me to help her with the gallery wall in her dining room. The night turned into us all laughing so hard that we couldn't breathe. I am so excited to celebrate Jenna & Nat!

One time, I invited Nat over to my family’s house to watch Game of Thrones. It was the premiere of the second episode of the final season, so we decided to make an event out of it. I thought it would be funny to wear a wizard robe that I dug out of our family’s costume closet to set the mood. He showed up with a leather belt and a homemade battle-axe. Unlike that final season, I know that Nat will never let me down.
