We're Getting Married!

Most people think our story began when I was pregnant with nova but it all began back in the summer of 2021 when we were working together at costa vida. The late nights and rushes made us not always see eye to eye but the ice cream debrief always made it up for it and eventually grew into dates while getting to know each other. I wish I could say our love story started there but we had a fallen out until we met again when I was a few months pregnant with my daughter. Tristan had walked into Bojangles and sat in our booth like he knew he was gonna fit right in, then he grabbed my phone and added his number and social back on my phone with the line of "your not getting away this time" From that point everyday consist of movie nights, late night snack runs to super one, all my favorite craving runs. Our friendship opened but so did our hearts to a whole new chapter we didn't know we were capable of. The next few months flew by and before I knew it Tristan was bringing my snacks to the hospital and in which I knew he needed to be apart of brining nova into the world because in those moments he became her dad. Carrying me through my labor, the NICU days with nova and just through postpartum, he was carrying his family. Fast forward to March 1st 2025 when Tristan asked me to marry him, he played a beautiful propsal by the lake surrounded by our favorite people. Tristan and I have grown up together, learned to carry one another and have built a strong, faithful foundation for our family. We've continued to share our love through dance parties, lake days and Sunday church! We are blessed for the people who show us love, grace and support us.
