Amanda grew up in Exeter, NH. Sean grew up in Greenland, NH. They went to different high schools but had a mutual friend, Jeremy. In 2009 Jeremy introduced them over the phone, and they went to junior prom together as a blind date! The rest was history after that! Sean and Amanda grew closer with age. They've been living in and around Boston and Cambridge since 2011. They love skiing together every winter in the white mountains, and hanging on the beach in Winthrop in the summer.

For their 10 year anniversary Amanda and Sean planned a fabulous trip to hike and camp in many national and state parks in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Just a few days in to their trip after a full day of hiking and driving, Sean proposed at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. They continued to hike and celebrate on their trip for 2 weeks after. During which Amanda surprised Sean by proposing to him too at a campsite in Arizona.
