Thank you for agreeing to attend our wedding. Proof of a Negative COVID-19 test within five days of the wedding and temperature checks will be required for you to attend. We want to be cognizant of the safety of our guests. Masks are highly encouraged. Show up if you have RSVP’d unless in the event of an emergency. Please STAY HOME if you are sick. Regarding guests, you are only allowed the number of guests listed on your invitation. Please do not request to bring extra guests as we can only accommodate who is already invited. Please do not being guests who were not invited, as they will not be able to attend. Thank you for understanding and respecting our request. Any other questions not answered here or on the FAQ page, please contact our Wedding Planner, Patrice, 901-515-7828. We look forward to celebrating with you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by Oct. 15th so we can give final headcounts to vendors, etc.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Due to already having many products that are typically on a registry, we are requesting cash funds only for our registry. That may be located on our website under "Registry"

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Since the ceremony starts at 4 pm, we do request that guest arrive no earlier than 3:15 pm. If you arrive after the processional starts, you will have to wait to be seated until after the bride is escorted down the aisle. We appreciate your promptness in advance.

How do I get to the Venue?

Answer

You may enter "701 Whaley" (make sure its in Columbia SC) in your GPS and it will take you to the correct location.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is plenty of parking at the venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically, around this time of year in SC, the weather is in the 60s range.

Answer

The ceremony and reception rooms are adjacent to one another (in the same building).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Definition: Cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual, and elegant and comfortable. To an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress.

What colors should I wear?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you do not wear these colors, as they are reserved for the wedding party to be distinct from guests: Beige/champagne (or any shade similar), white, gold, and burgundy. Thank you for your cooperation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest. Unless stated on your RSVP, we cannot accommodate any more guests.

Can I take pictures of the wedding and post them on Social media?

Answer

We request that no phones or cameras be used during the wedding ceremony. We would like to see your faces and not your phones... However, feel free to take pictures and post during the reception!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, a cocktail hour will take place in our reception area while the Bridal party takes pictures.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind?

Answer

Guests will have the choice to choose between two entrees to be served during the reception. *more info coming*
