A true romance orchestrated by The King indeed, because Lord knows I was not paying Lance any attention. Side eyeing him is what Lance says, however, he's conveniently forgetting it was a First Sunday and he wasn't paying attention to the Usher. Yes, I was giving him the side eye, but it was because I was thinking, "What are you doing? You're supposed to be in line for Communion, not still sitting there, cast in a spell, watching me", but fine... let's go with his story, lol. Our first date was on a Friday. It was “Good Friday” to be exact. Honestly, I was going for the food 😊. Lance was shy, so I ate from my plate and his. He didn’t seem to mind and that’s when I fell in love.
