We first met in 2018 at a music festival in Dallas. At the time, it felt like a small, passing moment, nothing too significant. But that day ended up meaning so much more than we realized. It was also the day Lucy met her now best friend, Andrea. Andrea was dating Izzy, who is Sergio’s best friend, and from there, everything slowly started to connect. Andrea and Izzy continued to invite Lucy out, always making her feel included, and over time those hangouts turned into real, lasting friendships. By February 2021, Lucy and Andrea had grown especially close, which naturally meant more time spent Sergio. We started off as friends, getting to know each other in a way that felt easy and genuine, and it didn’t take long for that friendship to turn into something more. On October 30, 2021, Sergio asked Lucy to be his girlfriend, and the rest really fell into place from there. Since then, we’ve grown together through every season of life and showing up for each other no matter what. On September 28, 2025, Sergio proposed in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. And the rest is still being written. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
