Our love story began tailgating in Hershey, PA at a Florida Georgia Line concert. Tyler went with his sister, Kelsey, and his cousin, Amber, and I was there with one of my best friends, Ana, and her friend group. There was a random group between us, and as it started to down pour rain, the wind took their canopy flying. We all helped to get it back and formed one large group. I beat Tyler at flip cup and he beat me at cornhole, but we both won that day; however, if you ask Tyler what really won me over was him shirtless and his cornhole skills! Fun fact: ask Tyler what happened to my phone number.. Taylor Muir, you’re the real MVP that day.
In typical Tara fashion, I was running late, because I was working (shocker, I know). It was a Friday evening and we were going to cut down our first real Christmas tree together with our girls, Remington and Winchester. There was only one other family there, and Tyler made sure we steered clear from them, as we went to an area that was secluded. After I took plenty of pictures of our tree and our girls, Tyler told me to hold the tree as he started cutting it. Of course I didn’t listen and needed a picture of him cutting down our first tree, and that’s when I found him down on one knee. Obviously my answer was “yes!” and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See ya’ll in York, PA!
