Stone Island Garden's Hotel Carmelita's Restaurant

This hotel is a cheaper option that is super close to our venue (around a 5 minute drive). They offer single rooms as well as two bedroom condos with a kitchen. The owners speak English and are very used to having guests from Canada and the US. Please remember that we are getting married on a peninsula (that is called stone island) and it is more of a small town vibe hotel in front of the beach. During the day there are many restaurants and people selling things on the beach. The nightlife there is pretty quiet after 7 pm and there aren't really any bars or dance clubs open. This may not be the place for you if you want to party all night :))

Hotel Posada Freeman Centro Histórico

This hotel is where you want to be if you are staying longer than the weekend of the wedding. This hotel is near all of the nightlife in Mazatlan. To get to Estrella Del Mar, you will have to get on a small boat for 10 minutes and then take a cab from there to the venue. It is super easy and kind of a fun tourist attraction.

Tijuana (Cross Border Express)

For cheaper flights, you might want to fly out of Tijuana. You can park your car in San Diego and cross over through the Cross Border Express into the Tijuana Airport. Airlines that fly to Mazatlan are Volaris, Viva Aerobus & Interjet.

You can buy cheaper tickets from Tijuana to Mazatlan round trip. If you purchase your tickets on Volaris, you can get to the Tijuana airport through the CBX.
