Please let us know if you're meeting us in Mexico by December 15, 2025! You can RSVP directly on our website and early responses are greatly appreciated.
The recommended wedding attire is Elevated Garden Party. Elevated Garden Party for a wedding in Mexico means elegant attire with a lively, celebratory touch- think formal gowns or suits in vibrant colors and stylish details that reflect the joyful spirit of the occasion. Reach out to Rosa or Rob if you have any questions!
The ceremony will take place at the Parroquia de San Miguel, which is located in the heart of San Miguel. The reception will take place at Instituto Allende, which is an art institute in San Miguel De Allende. The distance between both sites is about a half a mile, so please consider this when picking your shoes!

Once in San Miguel, everything is walking distance (especially when you have comfortable shoes)!
In mid-February, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, typically experiences mild and pleasant weather. Temperatures: Daytime highs average around 70–75°F (21–24°C) Nighttime lows can drop to 40–45°F (4–7°C), so mornings and evenings are cooler. Humidity/ Rain: Generally low, making the weather feel crisp and comfortable. It is mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with very little rain- February is still within the dry season.
San Miguel is a very walkable city and you can walk to most places within 20 minutes. Your main point of reference will be the Parroquia. It’s the big church in the main garden square called the Jardin. You can see the Parroquia from most places in the city so it’s easy to orient yourself if you get lost. All of the streets in San Miguel are cobblestone and there are some hilly areas so please keep that in mind when packing shoes. Sandals, sneakers, and block heels are easiest for walking around. If you do want a taxi they are very cheap ($4-$5 cash) and are great for getting home if you don’t want to walk the cobblestone streets after too many margaritas! They are all over the place so just flag down a green taxi. Uber is available in the area but the wait times can be long. You can also ask your hotel concierge to call a taxi for you.
Although we love your kids, we are only able to accommodate children of family members who are named on the rsvp section. Please let us know if you would like to arrange local babysitting services.
We recommend staying in a hotel or Airbnb in Zona Centro since there are plenty of things to do nearby and the Welcome Party and Church will be in this area. Please see the Travel & Accommodations and Things To Do tabs for our hotel and restaurant recommendations.
Most places accept credit cards but if you need pesos for anything like taxis, there are plenty of ATMs near the Jardin and around the city. The exchange rate right now is about 19 MXN to 1 USD, so 1900 pesos is roughly $100.
No worries if you don't speak Spanish! San Miguel is a popular tourist destination so nearly everyone you interact with will know a decent amount of English.
