We're Getting Married!

Evan and Sara may have met in a modern way (Bumble!), but the story of how they fell in love is a classic tale of boy meets girl, girl plays hard to get, boy plays it cool, and girl finally gives boy a chance. It was an early Sunday afternoon in San Francisco and Evan was all set to meet Sara for an afternoon drink. Sara arrived early and ordered a cocktail and an appetizer. Evan arrived right on time and found Sara with an empty glass and the remains of what appeared to be calimari and truffle fries. They chatted for an hour or so, and then Sara proclaimed she had to run. Evan was left with a full drink, a few of Sara's leftover truffle fries, and a full serving of confusion. "I don't know what just happened... but I think I like it" Evan thought to himself in bewilderment. His first instinct was to send Sara a text with something like, "that was fun, let's do it again sometime." But Evan knew that wasn't going to work. Instead, he played it cool and formulated to win Sara's heart over a series of hikes, smoothies, and various meals of strange mushrooms and adaptogens. Luckily for everyone involved, the plan worked and here we are today with Evan and Sara set to be married!

When we first got engaged, all we thought about was getting our family and friends on a raucous dance floor. But since we don't know when we'll be able to do that again safely, we have decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony with just our immediate families. There may be masks, distancing, and nasal swabs, but there will also be a lot of love. We promise that when things get back to normal, we're going to have a huge reception with our extended families and friends. Stay tuned...
