Do I have to RSVP for both weddings?

Answer

You MUST RSVP for the October 3rd ceremony in Dripping Springs. However, no RSVP is required for the September 27th wedding.

Do I have to attend both weddings?

Answer

No. While we'd love to have your presence at both ceremonies, we completely understand if you're only able to attend one.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The traditional Nigerian ceremony is in Houston, so Bush International Airport (IAH) or William P Hobby (HOU). If you are only attending the American wedding, it will be best to fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), which is about 28 miles from Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs.

Am I supposed to wear African clothing to the traditional Nigerian wedding?

Answer

No. While we encourage you to truly immerse yourself in the Nigerian culture and pay homage to the groom's family through their traditional garbs, you are able to wear standard formal attire.

Is there a dress code for the American wedding?

Answer

Yes. Guest are encouraged to wear fall colored cocktail attire.

Does Camp Lucy provide a shuttle to and from the airport?

Answer

No. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about an hour away, so we highly encourage guests to share an Uber or rental car.

If I don't stay at Camp Lucy, will they provide a shuttle to and from the ceremony to a neighboring hotel?

Answer

No. The neighboring hotels are only about 15 minutes away from Camp Lucy, so we encourage either carpooling in a rental car or reserving an Uber.

Will there be any activities occurring either before or after the wedding?

Answer

A reception full of dining and dancing will follow the wedding! Also, Dripping Springs is a hub for unique shopping, live music venues, vineyards and breweries, among other things. Please visit the "Things to Do" tab for more information on how you can spend your visit.
