Diego and I met while attending ASU in December of 2015 and instantly became great friends! We would volunteer together, study together, grab food after class and before we knew it we were inseparable. With Diego's sense of humor and charm, being around him felt so natural. One day Diego decided to make the first move, and while that time didn't work, the second time sure did lol. From there we got to know each other better and better and on April 9th 2016, after a night of studying, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Thus started a series of me saying "Yes!"

Exactly 5 year later, he popped the question. We finally made it to dinner and he wanted to take pictures in front of the beautiful fountain at Cafe Monarch. Then this man, who has no patience for pictures, excitedly shouts "One more picture." I turn around to fix my hair and when I turn back he's getting on one knee. The only thing I remember from that moment was saying "Yes!"
