Jonathan y Esmeralda crecieron en la misma comunidad y asistieron a los mismos distritos escolares, pero sus caminos no se cruzaron realmente hasta el 2015. Ese año, Jonathan se puso en contacto con Esmeralda a través de lo que entonces se conocía como Twitter, y durante todo el verano pasaron noches enteras hablando y conociéndose mejor. El 3 de octubre de 2015, después del baile de Homecoming, Jonathan le pidió a Esmeralda que fuera su novia… y ella dijo que sí. Once años después, se casan en esa misma fecha, un día muy especial que marca el comienzo de su vida juntos para siempre.

Jonathan and Esmeralda grew up in the same community and attended the same school districts, but their paths didn’t truly cross until 2015. That year, Jonathan reached out on what was then known as Twitter, and the two spent the summer talking and staying up all night getting to know each other. On October 3, 2015, after the homecoming dance, Jonathan asked Esmeralda to be his girlfriend—and she said yes. Eleven years later, they are getting married on the very same date, a special milestone that marks the beginning of their forever together.
