As with most relationships in today’s age, Esha and Amar’s love story starts with the dating apps. Esha came across Amar’s dating profile and he checked off a lot of the non-negotiable checkboxes so she took a leap and swiped right. Amar couldn’t pass up a sweet southern gal living in Florida so he decided to match with Esha. After lots of texting, phone calls, and Facetimes, Amar made the trip out to Orlando for the official meet and greet. The following month, Esha went out to Dallas for their second date and after meeting Amar’s sweet lab puppy, Korra, the rest was history.

Fast forward to May when they take their first trip together to explore Italy and Greece. The two started out in Rome, then made their way to Milan. In Milan, Amar planned out a day trip to Lake Como at the small lake town of Bellagio. The forecast called for rain storms all day which put a damper on Esha’s excitement. She was really looking forward to visiting Lake Como and worried the rain might interfere with their plans. Little did she know that Amar had a whole proposal planned out when they got to Bellagio. Amar convinced Esha that it was still worth going and a little rain wasn’t going to mess up the trip. This was probably the first hint Esha had that he was going to propose. When they arrived, they took a short ferry ride across the lake and made their way to a local garden called Villa Melzi where Amar set up a surprise photoshoot for the proposal. By then the drizzling rain had subsided and the sun had begun to come out. As they entered the garden, Amar was trying to “buy” tickets. He told Esha to start exploring while he spoke to the ticket agent to get the surprise photography session set up and finalized. As the two entered the garden and walked up to the garden's temple, Amar made her walk in and take a selfie. He then got down on one knee and proposed with the surprise photographer catching all the moments. And as we all know, she said YES!
