As older sister, Judith and Daniela have been roommates in the past. Although Judith could not stand the ceiling fan to be on during sleep and Daniela couldn't bear the silence of the still room, Judith and Daniela still managed to get along. Not only this, but Judith and Daniela would often have important conversations in the darkness that sort of helped one another truly contemplate the decisions life demanded and of course, boys. Daniela could never forget her once roommate and sister for life and how Judith so graciously requested her younger and completely wedding-oblivious sister to be bridesmaid to her own wedding. Daniela now understand the troubles her sister had been through as bride-to-be and is honored to have her very forgiving sister alongside her on this special day.

Jorge and Daniela met during their Americorps service year in 2017. It was apparent that Jorge was not at all a very social person, much like Daniela, but their fondness for music and dark humor is what drew them to one another as friends as the service year went on. Jorge and Daniela would have civil debates on important subjects in life and not always agreed with each other, but they remained friends despite that, especially during the hardest of times in early 2018. When Daniela's best friend and roommate, Tyler, left this world, a deep loss was felt for many. On that day, Jorge was right by Daniela's side, acting as the rock for such a heavy day and thereafter. There aren't enough words to explain the gratitude Daniela has towards Jorge and his family. Thank you, Jorge & Ramirez Family

Evelyn has always been very protective of her family, and would not dare have anyone hurt Daniela, nor Victor, especially on their wedding day. Throughout the years, Evelyn has been known to be a true strength for the family, encouraging everyone to make amends, make good choices for their own spiritual and emotional well-being, and to never stop fighting for the most important people and things in life. With Danica, her daughter, the family has truly seen Evelyn inspire so many surrounding her, including Daniela to continue to be a strong woman and even mother of the year. Evelyn is outgoing, friendly, humorous, and very forgiving. For this, Victor & Daniela's wedding day would not be the same without her!

I am grateful for Marisol and her determination in life to accomplish so much in life. She is an amazing human being whom will truly go out of her way to make the people in her life happy and safe. I'm so glad I met Marisol during our first City Year Americorps service year at M.L. King Academy.

As Victor's little cousin, Tessa has always been an adorably prominent face in both of our lives! From Daniela working on her Halloween makeup in her elementary school costume day to seeing her high school makeup and honorary achievements, Tessa has always made a mark wherever she's gone. As the years go by, the running joke is that Tessa is Victor and Daniela's adopted daughter because of the crazy physical similarities between her and Victor, as well as her fondness of books like that of Daniela! Tessa has truly been someone who's pulled Victor and Daniela together throughout the years and we both hope to see her accomplish so many great things in life taking her as far as the success ladder will allow her to climb.

ZoZo! It is without a doubt that Zoey is the most adorable team member M.L. King has ever had. Her humor, her fashion, and her warm hospitality are all things that made everyone on the team immediately love Zoey. Who wouldn't?! Zoey's patience and kindness was apparent to everyone on the City Year King Team during our service year. If Victor & Daniela ever take in a doggo under their care, Zoey would be the first person called for doggositting due to her immense love and appreciation for them. Zoey is a bright and shining light in this world, and has been there to bring this light to Daniela's darkest days. Thank you ZoZo for being so great!

Alexandra was also one of the M.L.King City Year team members that grealy impacted Daniela. Throughout the year, Daniela never saw Alexandra show an ounce of frustration nor anger, nor anything that made her look uncollected. Alexandra is a major inspiration for Daniela due to her great maturity, impeccable charm, and overall light-hearted character with so much depth! Alexandra not only has accepted the strangeness that is Daniela, but also welcomed her into friendship without hesitation. She too showed an immensely caring heart for visiting Daniela during the hardest days, and even gifted Daniela a beautiful bracelet symbolic of two important points of someone's life: the highest point and the lowest point. Who knew a beautiful soul from New Jersey would impact a Southwest Texan so much?

Jesus and Daniela's friendship was an unlikely one due to their very different ways of being!Having met in Home Economics class in high school, but not really coming together as friends until landing in the same workplace in 2018, Daniela never expected to have gotten close to anyone so soon after moving back to Eagle Pass. Before Jesus, Daniela had an immense distrust for Gemini's! :'D However, Jesus has really changed the persepective on so many things for Daniela and helped her come back into life after her best friend's passing. It's undeniable that Jesus's outgoing personality and his way of seeing the bright side to even the most negative situations are things that have made Daniela's life better. For this, Victor & Daniela would be honored to have him by their side on this big day.
