Are kids welcome?

Answer

We couldn't love your little ones more, but our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy our celebration!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire | We (Erynn) couldn't love a fancy celebration more- so we suggest cocktail dresses, gowns, suits & ties, but, at the end of the day wear what you feel your best in!

What’s happening the night before the big day?

Answer

A party, of course! 🥂 Meet us at Commission Row downtown next to Gainbridge Fieldhouse from 8–10pm for our Welcome Party. All wedding guests are invited and it’s the perfect excuse to toast to our big day the night before! Pro tip- enjoy dinner there and Mel's speakeasy before the party begins!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest arriving 15 minutes early to the church so you can get settled before the ceremony starts! Parking Info: Free parking while attending our wedding is available next to the Marian Center (317 N New Jersey St) If our lot is full, there is paid street parking throughout the neighborhood. The closest parking garage is located at Block 20 (428 N East St).

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All of our celebrations will take place indoors!

How should I get to the wedding festivities?

Answer

We want you to have FUN and be safe! We recommend ordering Ubers and Lyfts from our ceremony and or to the reception. Both ride shares are very accessible in these areas and relatively inexpensive.

There's a gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour, what should I do during this time?

Answer

After our ceremony ends, we’ll have a short gap before the cocktail hour begins. We selected this church because it's conveniently located in the heart of our favorite places in downtown Indianapolis! You can visit stores and restaurants on Mass Ave, head back to your hotel, or you can head to the Indianapolis Museum of Art (where our cocktail hour and reception takes place) and go through the museum! I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We have 2 hotel blocks in Downtown Indianapolis that you can find on the travel tab! There are also other great hotels you should consider looking into: Hotel Indy: Boutique hotel located across the street from our Welcome Party! Bottleworks Hotel: Closer to the heart of our favorite places downtown (Bottleworks, Mass Ave., Rathskellar). If you're looking to make a fun vacation out of this and be close to great food, try this out! Hilton Garden Inn & Hilton Indianapolis are close to our 2 hotel blocks as well
