We met at work as Deputy Sheriff's. After months of working together Ricky invited me to do his favorite activity, fishing. We spent the day in the sun catching fish and most importantly catching feelings. A few weeks later, he took me on yet another fishing trip to June Lake, CA. We found that June Lake was both of our favorite place rooting back from childhood memories. On August 12, 2018, Ricky asked me to be his girlfriend while on our way to our favorite place. I remember taking a scenic drive at dusk together and him saying, "I think you're going to be around for a long time." Little did we know, he was right! On January 1, 2021, Ricky planned yet another of our famous trips up to June Lake. For me, I thought it was just an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of a new year. However, Ricky was secretly planning a trip to celebrate the beginning of our forever. Standing by a beautifully snow covered lake, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YESSS!
