Their paths crossed a few times before they officially met. Eryn thought Luke was weird the first interaction she had with him, but only time would tell. They officially met and talked for the first time while in college at Luke's friends apartment (who is now his sister-in-law). She was having friends over and one of Eryn’s friends was invited. So, she tagged along. Little did they know they would meet the loves of their lives that night. Luke was his typical funny self, life of the party, talking to everyone. But as the night wound down they ended up talking to one another for hours. Luke stole Eryn’s phone, put his number in it and added her on Facebook (yeah, that was his move) Haha!!! And, they have talked every day since.

It was Eryn’s 30th birthday. They were on a weekend getaway with Luke’s entire family in Lake Geneva. It was a typical day to start; woke up, had breakfast, and hung out in the pool with Lukes family. They all planned to go to dinner at a place up the road on the lake and wanted a family photo taken before hand. About 5pm they all made their way to the lake. When they arrived Lukes mom started getting everyone in order for the photo, but Luke stopped her. At this time Eryn was talking with his little nephews. Slightly confused at what Luke was doing she turned around, and to her surprise, Luke was getting down on one knee. In shock, Eryn turned all the way back around with her back to him (of course she started to cry). After a few seconds she finally turned back facing him and ...he Popped The Question! Eryn was surprised as ever, and of course, said YES! Luke’s entire family was there to witness it, along with all the guests outside at the resort and on the lake! It was picture perfect! And to top it off, Luke planned a surprise party to celebrate Eryns birthday and little known to all other guests, their engagement. He invited all of their friends, his family and Eryn’s parents drove up from Tennessee! Talk about a day to remember!!! It truly was a dream!
