We would love to get help from whoever would be willing to come to the park early. The ceremony and reception sites will need to be decorated. I will be there to get things started and delegate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Park/Beach Wedding Attire: Linen pants or dress shorts with nice, short sleeve or long button down and comfortable dresses with even more comfortable shoes...it's at a park on the water in July. Stay cool!
OH SNAP! Thank you for coming. We have but one plea. Please keep our ceremony CAMERA FREE. Though our "I do's" are UNPLUGGED, most of our reception is not. ONCE WE FINISH OUR FIRST DANCE, you're free to take a shot.
1:30 pm - 2:45 pm
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures around the park. Other guests can hang out at the Chapel By The Sea or walk right across the parking lot to Shelter 2 (Pavilion) and have some refreshments and snacks. We will also have games to play if you’d like to take advantage of the nice field surrounding the reception area. Please allow the paid, professional photographers to privately spend time taking pictures of the wedding party. There will be time during the reception for other guests to take pictures. Thank you!
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Attire is the same as the ceremony.
We are so honored and excited that you can join us in our union. Unfortunately, no alcohol is allowed at the wedding! We are very sorry to tell our guests this, but Colt State Park is an alcohol-free site. There is absolutely nothing allowed anywhere at the park. Please respect our decision to have our wedding at this location. Also, please notice that food will not be served until hors d'oeuvres at 1:30ish. Dinner will not be served until after 3:00. You may want to have a little something to eat before you leave for the wedding. We don't want our loved ones to be starving and hangry while waiting for the ceremony and pictures to be done.
