Go Dolphins! 🏈 Wait…… I mean SKOL! Laura was my first friend in Hastings. I can’t remember if she volunteered or was assigned to show me around, so I’ll just say she volunteered! Lol I would have never guessed she’d be one of my life besties! She is the best friend that would drop everything if you are in need. I was her maid of honor and now she’s mine. No pressure on the speech haha. Hopefully you don’t “ugly girl cry” like I did at yours.

Brandon Wienke

Best Man

Brandon is the best older brother anyone could ask for (awwww I know). We grew up only two years apart from each other but at times it seemed like we were closer. Between playing sports, snowmobiling, hunting, you name it - we were one and the same. I wish I had something funny or embarrassing to say about Brandon, but he’s too nice of guy to throw under the bus like that, so hopefully he just embarrasses himself during the speech!

Marissa Holmes

My queen B! Marissa and I met playing volleyball in middle school and have been besties ever since. She is the funniest, carefree, go with the flow girl I know! Not many friendships could last being roommates but I truly think that made us closer! The late night dance parties, 1-2am talks and the neighborhood gossip will forever be some of my fondest memories! Marissa is the rock for so many people, I’m so glad to have her as my friend!

Jordan Wienke

Jordan is the younger brother who decided not to follow in Brandon's and my footsteps playing football, and instead chose to run cross country. We grew up always getting in fights, with Logan and I using him as our test dummy. I think he grew up just fine….yet to be seen for sure. Over the years we have grown closer and I’m super proud of who he has become!

Gretchen Holton

Everyone has a boujee friend, right? It’s rare to find someone who loves wine as much as I do, but this girl does! It’s only one of the reasons we get along so well! What can we say, we have expensive tastes. We met at St. Cloud State playing volleyball. After working together in intramurals with a bunch of men, she was my saving grace! We’ve been friends ever since. Gretchen also recently got married and I’m so happy that she will stand by my side.

Aka older Justin Bieber. We met in prison and have been friends ever since. He’s never been one to lead me astray and reminds me of it all the time. He’s helped me get to where I am in my career and I will never be able to thank him enough! We have had our moments where I have made a fool of myself and he will never let me forget - like getting caught in a storm on our motorcycles because I lost my key….for more details just ask he will for sure tell you!

Sister from another Mr. #literally. Karen is my evil-step seeeeester. But really, she is the sister I wish I had growing up. We are the exact opposites, from book smarts to sports abilities. She will NOT..... and I repeat NOT, get the microphone to go down memory lane haha. She is the BEST mama to my niece Kinsley. And one of Karen's many talents is being able to quote lines from tv shows and movies. (something my mom and I are not good at!) But I could maybe take a round after she has another wild turkey shot! Gobble gobble!

Cody, all I can say is 27 Red. Those who know him will understand. Cody has some of the best one liners I’ve ever heard and if you have ever spent more than 30 minutes with him you’ve probably heard one or two of them. Wisconsin sports fanatic and always willing to watch them with you. We grew closer after high school and a mission to visit all the football stadiums!

Joining the Wienke family has been so easy! But with a sister-in-law like Brittany there will never be a dull moment. As I continue to get to know her we are so much alike. Between planning vacations, bands/concerts, and family gatherings we share the love for making memories. Not only that, she’s a saving grace to have there so I don’t have to live, breath and die boy talk (aka. sports, hunting, snowmobiling, you name it!) lol

Sam Skatrud

……no idea where to even start. Sam is the kind of dude who will give you the shirt off his back if he hadn’t already taken it off and gave it to someone else. We grew up playing basketball and have yet to settle who is the better driveway basketball player (Logan thinks it’s himself). Sam will welcome you with a handshake and give you a hug when he leaves. If Sam gets the microphone at the wedding we will be in for a show! Love you man!

Jessica is my cousin. Our families are so close, and being an only child, Jess and Haley were considered to be the closest thing to having siblings growing up. Jess, Haley and Brenda really got me hooked on reality tv. Especially, Bachelor Nation. Lol but be prepared to answer a bunch of Jess’s questions mid-show. “Who are they gonna pick?” Not like anyone knows the answer because you’re watching it TOGETHER! Lol I can hear her kackle laugh writing this. Haha ahhhh I love you!

Logan Jensen

Logan is the guy who you tell people about that “should have landed you in jail” between jumping off garage roofs, making “Jackass Jr.”, and calling me over to finish the can of ravioli he opened, he’s been one of my best friends that I’ve made some of my best memories with! And yes I can beat him in basketball, but he’s a much better hunter!

Haley Griffin

Haley is also my cousin (Jessica’s younger sister). Some of my favorite memories are making dance videos on the porch. Nothing like these Tik Tok stars do now haha. Haley graduated as a Minnesota Golden Gopher and played the cymbals in the band. It still shocks me that she is a thriving young adult with a full-time job and homeowner! I don’t think I was ready for you to grow up lol, but I love watching you thrive and I’m proud of who you have become.

I swear Jordan’s ears ring when one of his friends mentions a casino or sports gambling. There aren’t many people I feel like can talk sports like I can, but Jordan puts me to shame. Growing up playing basketball and baseball together we found our friendship in sports and that’s kept us friends this long. Like Cody, we plan on making it to every football stadium! I don’t know how many we have left, but I can’t wait for many more trips, just no more hurricanes!
