Swiping right finally paid off! Amanda and Christopher "met" the day after Christopher moved up to Alexandria, VA from Goochland, VA. After chatting for a couple days, they exchanged numbers and went on a Chick-Fil-A and mini golf date.

Christopher and Amanda wanted to ring shop together. Not surprising to anyone if you know Amanda, but she knew exactly the ring she wanted. Between her Pinterest board and their amazing sales lady (shoutout to Katy!), they were able to create the perfect ring that mixed tradition, modernism and sparkle.

The newest little Rooney family would not be complete without the sweet (and slightly spastic) puppy named Ace. Adding this crazy pup to the mix has already taught these two new "paw-rents" a lot. Ace challenges them (hello teenager phase) and yet is their most rewarding adventure thus far!

At one of their favorite Culpeper wineries, Christopher proposed to Amanda. He planned it months in advanced with her twin sister, Sarah and worked hard to make it PERFECT. From having Ace present, to having it be an intimate moment (with some pics for later), Amanda was able to say, "Yes!" in front of the beautiful landscape of the vineyard.
