Grand Teton National Park is located north of Jackson. A great spot to take hikes, see wildlife, and the best attraction: the Grand Teton Mountain Range. Drive further north and you will drive into Yellowstone National Park. Please note that you will need to purchase a weekly or day pass for the National Park entrance. Our favorite hikes are: Jenny Lake (~7 miles round trip, or take the ferry ride across), Hidden Falls (~5.5 miles round trip), Inspiration Point (~5.7 miles round trip), these trails are easily accessible with mild elevation change. An advanced trail we recommend is Delta Lake (~9 miles, 2,000-3,000 elevation change). Enjoy lunch at the Trapper Grill by sitting dockside on Jackson Lake enjoying the Tetons. Bring your camera!
Enjoy the activities of Teton Village. Plenty to do for all ages of fun. Take a ride up the gondola for the world famous waffles from the Waffle House and see gorgeous views of Jackson and all around. If you're a daredevil and like heights, we recommend Jackson Hole Paragliding from the top of the Tetons - our Best Man David Robinson is our favorite paragliding guide - we highly recommend him, tell him Maddie and Tyler sent ya!
Another great addition to our ceremony and reception - enjoy some FUN at Snow King Mountain Resort. Great for all ages. Enjoy the scenic Gondola, race down the mountain in the Cowboy Coaster or see the world at night at the top of Snow King Mountain in the Observatory and Planetarium.
Best rafting company for over 10 years straight! Enjoy a scenic or a whitewater ride down the beautiful Snake River. Locations are south of Jackson or in Alpine.
Into beautiful scenery on horseback? Better yet - a beautiful scenic horseback ride with the best steak of your life afterwards? Mill Iron Ranch is a staple of Jackson. Ran by REAL cowboys and cowgirls with horses born and raised on the Ranch. Enjoy the elevated experience from some of the best people you will ever meet, concluding your adventurous day with the best T-Bone steak from our friend, and a true Jackson Hole Rancher and local, Chancy. Please know you will not walk away hungry! Tell the crew Maddie and Tyler say hi!
Are you hungry, but wanting to see the awesome views? We recommend Dornans - established in 1922 in a small town called Moose. North of JAC - settle yourself into a great pizza pie or sandwich with a local beer and enjoy the view of the Tetons. Dornans also offers log cabin rentals and adventures, too. Look hard into the beer coolers located inside the Wine Shop, next to the Pizza and Pasta Co., every summer we usually see a case or two of Oberon - Michigan brewed summer beer!
Looking to adventure and get some mud or dirt in your face? Adventure Rentals can help with that! Adventure Rentals has SXS available to rent for a half or full day.
