We met through an online dating website. A few messages turned into a few phone calls which turned into our first meeting at Starbucks. The date was September 14, 2018. We like to think it was a lucky date because it was David's birthday (Justine's brother). What was meant to be a brief meeting over coffee turned into hours of conversation about work, life, and future aspirations. We left our first meeting feeling a connection and excited for our first 'real' date.

During a trip to St. Lucia, Errol came up with a plan to surprise Justine with a proposal. He decided to do it during a photoshoot on the beach. While Justine was getting ready for what she thought would be a few pictures before dinner, Errol was able to plan the surprise with the photographer. Justine noticed that the photographer was acting a little strange and was very talkative, but Errol was cool, calm, and collected as usual. Errol was photographed by himself first. When it was Justine's turn the photographer told her to turn around and face the ocean. When told to turn back around it took her a few seconds to realize Errol was kneeling with the ring in his hand. She said yes !
