Errol and Christine met at a mutual friend's house in 2006. Fast forward 4 years, Christine and Errol reconnected when they were both fresh off of heartbreaks and living on opposite sides of the country. Christine was finishing up graduate school at James Madison University in Virginia and Errol was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Clemente, California. Casual conversations over the next few months led to daily talks that had both Christine and Errol wondering what could come from this cross country friendship. After 6 months of chatting, Errol took the leap and invited Christine to visit him in California. It didn't take long to realize this was more than a friendship and before Errol's pending deployment they made it official. Upon Errol's return from Afghanistan in 2011, he began making plans to move to Christine in Virginia following his honorable discharge from the Navy. After a year in Virginia they packed up and headed back out to California together in 2013. In 2018, after 8 and a half years, at Christine's 30th birthday celebration Errol surprised her, all their closest friends, and beach goers when he 'found a clam' washed up on the beach with a surprise hidden inside. With Errol down on one knee, Christine accepted the long awaited question. They look forward to celebrating with their family and closest friends in San Clemente, where their love story began.
