Amanda Wullenweber

Bride

Errol Ziolkowski

Groom

Ali Buchanan

Maid of Honor

Even though we are cousins, Ali and I started to get extremely close during Covid in 2020. Every Monday I would go to Ali’s house to watch the bachelor with her roommates, where I told her about this guy named Errol I was seeing. Her first response was “what kind of name is Errol?” Since then we’ve started being UC football season ticket holders together (thank you to Ali’s friends who welcomed Errol and I with open arms to the group), trained for 2 half marathons, and have been constant (not always consistent) workout partners. Ali is the person I can rely on no matter what. She is always there when I need her (it also helps that we are only 3 miles away from each other.) She will even spend the night with me when Errol is away on snowboarding trips so I’m not alone. From coming over to chill on the couch, to taking walks around Mt. Adams, or just having a random FaceTime call that’ll turn into multiple hours of just talking. I am so grateful to have Ali in my life not just as a cousin, but as a best friend.

Dominic Scaduto

Best Man

Best Friend of the Groom Well, Dominic and I have been buddies for quite some time, before we entered grade school actually. From the time we were young growing up in Buffalo, we always had fun hanging out. We would hang out too often at times and get into epic brawls. Dominic and I always get a kick out of the shenanigans we get ourselves into, whether is be pulling a prank we saw on jackass, or come up with our own pranks, we always seem to have a fun time. The two of us have been friends for over 25 years (yes there are times when we get sick of each other) but living in different states always makes us excited to see each other. We have been through thick and thin, good and bad, I was there when Dominic broke his leg in Canada skimboarding, and when we got busted ding dong ditching in his neighborhood and basically hitchhiked a taxi from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe, we've got stories for days. There's so much to say, but Dominic is a treasure, and a friend I hope to have till the end.

Jessica Richter-Hulsman

Matron of Honor

Jess and I have been best friends since 8th grade. From St. Martins grade school, to Mercy high school, and even on to the University of Cincinnati, Jess has been there for it all. We would carpool to school and even though I was running late Jess would be little less mad as long as I had a Matt Lucas special breakfast sandwich for her to have in home room. In college Jess would spend weekends in the dorm room and even be there when I wasn’t there, as she was an honorary roommate. She has always been my number 1 supporter and best friend. We would carpool to softball games and practice and have jam out sessions. Have Jess and Amanda days where we would spend 8+ hours with each other just binging cringey Netflix shows. Take pointless runs to target and be shocked that the total isn’t more at the end. Trips to the craft store for our multiple craft endeavors. I couldn’t imagine not having Jess by my side on my special day and I’m extremely grateful for the 12 years of friendship that I have with her.

Aaron Sensenbrenner

Groomsman

Aaron and I go back a while, we both attended Miamisburg High School. We really hit it off beginning in German class. Aaron myself and our other buddy Jesse made a nice small group, we all kind of had different interests but clicked when it came to learning the European language. It made sense for Aaron to learn German, I mean he's got the most German sounding last name imaginable, so to his surprise he was probably wondering what a Ziolkowski was doing in class. I wasn't the best German student either, but Aaron was, Aaron was a model student, we had an enjoyable time in our 3 years of class out in the modular home German classroom. Aaron, Jesse and myself even made an epic German skit where we featured Aarons dad's classic red convertible (Think Ferris Bueller's Day Off). It was fun project with all scripted parts, we thought we were so cool, and we were, our skit was the coolest in class. Aaron is the type of friend that pushes you physically, he would often try to teach me Krav Maga in his basement, teach me gun marksmanship and offer dating advice. Aaron and I grew up down the street from one another, while I would see if Aaron would want to hangout, he was often busy studying, working out or doing whatever he could to better himself. We may not always see each all the time, but we have a friendship that holds true to this day. Aaron is one of my smartest friends and is sharp as a blade.

Maria Vetter

Bridesmaid

Maria and I met freshman year at Mercy High School. We were in the same home room together, but really got close during softball season. Maria and I became instant friends, and we would spend every weekend together throughout high school. We were so close that at one point I just lived at her house. All of us girls knew we would just walk into the front door say hi to Mr. And Mrs. Vetter and run up to Maria’s room to hang out. Maria always got me to watch scary movies with her even though they are my least favorite genre to watch, but would always let me pick a romcom the next time we hung out. I know I can count on Maria to be down for a run, walk or workout class when she’s in town. Even though we don’t get to see each other all the time since she is in Tennessee getting her doctorate at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (slight brag for my bestie), I know I can always count on her to pick up a random call or FaceTime call whenever I NEED to tell her a story about my day and know she’s there to listen. (She even was the first to answer when I group FaceTimed her, Jess, and Abby after the proposal and she was the first to see the ring). I am grateful for the friendship I have with Maria and am so lucky to have her by my side at my wedding. And I can’t wait to be by hers in December!

Josh Woss

Groomsman

Where do I even begin? Josh Woss is the man, even so much that if we go camping he is the father figure to everyone, guys and gals included he is "dad". Josh and I became friends during our "College" days, Josh is the friend I always thought I would have initially when I moved to Ohio. Josh is a man of the people, he is always looking out for others, giving a big warm helping hand, and is really just being there when needed the most. Josh and I have been friends for over 10 years and have been on so many camping and boating trips that it makes 10 years seem like a lifetime. It doesn't take much for us to have a good time, there have been nights where we would talk up a big plan, but rather sit by a campfire till sun up, or go for a 4 hours ride through the country, hell josh can turn a trip to KFC into a an all day event. We have had a wild run in our 20's from surfing on lake Michigan, to tent camping in a Walmart parking lot (Multiple times), going to truck pulls, and fishing. Josh took me deer hunting, it was my first time, we were sitting out in the cold for hours. I finally saw two deer, and I looked over to my right and Josh was fast asleep, I pulled the hammer and missed, Josh and I have had a lot of fun and will continue to. I'm very fortunate to have met this cool country friend.

Abby Schatzman

Bridesmaid

Abby and I also met at Mercy High School freshman year, but really became close our junior year. Abby is easily the smartest person I know. She is quick to learn, hardworking, and extremely caring. Abby convinced me to run a half marathon with her in 2020 but due to Covid we pushed it off til 2021. Abby and I would train long runs together and go back to her apartment where her now husband Joey would have our Lil’s bagels ready for us when we got back. (Thanks Joey!). Abby and I learned to knit and crochet together and go on runs to the craft store for heaps of yarn especially when on a good sale. She’s always there to teach me a new skill I want to learn and will sit there and even make me dinner while doing it. Abby is the chef of the friends, and I always enjoy going over to have a yummy meal and rate it after (never anything below a 9). Abby is one of the most caring people I have ever met. I know I can count on her to be there when times are bad with a pint of Graeters in hand as well. She’s a great listener and will help in anyway she can. She is genuine and kind and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

Seth McGuire

Groomsman

Seth is a truly special friend. He is a friend who tells it how it is. I know I can trust his judgment and decisions because he is straight to the point and tells me how it is. Seth is a Master Plumber and we met through work. It took a few years at work for us to become closer, but we both realized that we were adrenaline junkies. We began snowboarding frequently and Seth surpassed my lifelong snowboard abilities in about 6 months. Seth is amazingly athletic and is always guiding and pushing me to be a better and stronger person. I know I can always trust Seth for anything, because he knows that everyone is capable of becoming their best self. Seth works tremendously hard on himself and his craft, I admire his persistence and discipline.

Madison Duncan

Bridesmaid

Madison and I met in Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Cincinnati. We became close after we became roommates in the Blue House in Clifton. We had a connecting door and one night moved my whole room around at 2am just so we can open the door and walk through each other’s rooms when we needed. Madison is an amazing friend and even though we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like to, whenever we do hangout it’s like no time has passed at all. Madison and her now husband Luke would take me on boating trips with them in college, out to the bars, and more times than not I would tag along with them when they went out to dinner. I was their third wheel a majority of the time and would always tell people I was going to hang out with mom and dad when we went out. Madison would also cook me meals when she would make her own especially when I was working late. At one point I would just start venmoing her for the groceries and she would cook. Especially after the night I made myself a plate of spaghetti and spilled it all over her carpet and bottom of her bedspread since I didn’t want to eat alone. Madison is a true and constant friend I know I couldn’t live without.

Jacob “Barney” Barhorst

Groomsman

Barney, What a guy... When you think you've got a group of great friends and couldn't take on any more, life will throw a Barney into the mix, which is an absolute plus. I met Barney in the last few years through our friend Seth. Barney too is a tradesman, adrenaline junkie, an outdoorsman and a great personality. As a group we have been on a couple hiking trips, camping trips and also a ski trip to Holiday Valley. On the hiking trips Seth and Barney brought their motorcycles and it was in Red River Gorge where Barney hurled us down the road at 100mph with me on the back of his bike, something I never thought I would do and probably not ever do again. Barney is high up on the list for being just genuinely funny, I know that he will always have an interesting story or a funny way of describing a life event. I'm truly thankful to have met another friend who shares hobbies and activities such as myself.

Natalie Ziolkowski

Bridesmaid

I am so excited to have Natalie as a sister. She is fun, caring, and the best momma to Eloise. She can easily be seen drinking an IPA with pinky’s up. Natalie is easily one of the funniest people I know (besides Errol) and always makes us laugh. She cuts Errol’s hair when he asks and will travel with her clippers for him. Natalie is so caring and the best sister to Errol and future sister-in-law to me.

Josh Seal

Groomsman

Brother of the Bride Josh Seal is easily the coolest brother-in-law a guy could ask for. A brother-in-law who golfs well, knows his sports, can joke around and crush beers...is way cooler than a brother-in-law who does CrossFit and puzzles. Josh and I like to joke around and bust each others chops, all in good fun. Josh is a a whole lot of fun every time I see him and is genuinely a great guy.
