It all began in 2015 at Nordstrom in San Francisco. Jocelyn worked in the kids’ clothing department, and Ernesto worked just across the way in kids’ shoes. What started as simple coworker conversations slowly turned into a genuine friendship. Over the years, as Ernesto moved on to manage different departments throughout the store, their paths would cross in new ways, and their connection quietly grew. Life eventually pulled them in different directions, and they lost touch for a couple of years. Still, neither of them ever forgot the spark they felt. In 2018, fate stepped in. Through social media, they discovered they were both in Miami for a concert at the same time. A spontaneous message turned into a date, and Ernesto gave Jocelyn a tour of South Beach. From that night on, everything changed — and the rest was history.
