It’s funny how life works out sometimes. For us, our story started long before we even realized it. We knew of each other from elementary school, crossing paths over the years but never quite connecting. Fast forward to adulthood, and we found ourselves at a wedding meet-and-greet for our friends. It was there that the spark ignited with a simple, “Heeeey Stacy McQueen.” In a twist of fate, we were paired to walk down the aisle together. Little did we know, that simple moment would be the beginning of something truly special. Just a little before that wedding, we had decided to take a leap of faith and see where things might go. And go they did, as we began dating and quickly realized the connection we shared was undeniable. On Christmas Day of 2024, as we exchanged gifts and laughter, Ernest saved the best gift for last. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. In that beautiful, heartfelt moment, without hesitation, I said yes,and the rest, as they say, is history.
