It all started when Erin went to pick up a friend from a college party to drive her to the bar (during swimming’s dry season). Her friend asked if she could bring some friends along—and to Erin’s surprise, seven people piled into her Toyota Camry! James ended up in the front seat, and they spent the whole ride chatting while chaos unfolded in the back. When Erin dropped everyone off, James told her he wanted to buy her a drink once she could go out again. The next day, they got each other’s numbers through their friend, went on their first date to Erin’s favorite spot on Main Street (ROOTS!), and the rest is history!
