A very unqiue, historic tavern built in 1751. We recommend stopping in for cocktails at the bar — it’s a cozy spot we find ourselves returning to nearly every time we visit New Hope. On chilly days, you'll find a roaring fire inside; on warm ones, enjoy sips on the patio & breezes from the river.
This gallery (and its sister space two doors down) became the highlight of our first trip to New Hope after chatting for a while with the incredibly sweet owners for a very long time. Later that day, Alex asked Erin to move in together, so this spot is a sweet part of our story.
A French-inspired bakery that checks all Erin’s francophile boxes. The pop-tarts are Alex-approved, and the whole place feels warm, whimsical, and delicious.
An easy and scenic walk across the Delaware River. Be sure to stop in the center, where you can snap a pic with one foot in PA and one in Jersey — the perfect homage to Alex’s home states.
A cheese shop Erin's dreams are made of, filled with gourmet pairings, specialty provisions, and all the makings of an unforgettable snack board. It’s located right near a local wine tasting room and La Chocolate Box if you want to indulge in both savory and sweet.
A standout dinner experience with a prix-fixe menu inspired by whatever the chef is loving at the market that day. French-American, intimate, and absolutely worth a reservation.
Our favorite shop in New Hope — a mix of home décor, interesting books, sumptuous candles, and joyful little finds curated from Japan, France, and beyond.
Start at the Antiques Center at the People’s Store and explore the surrounding block. You’ll find everything from MCM furniture in impeccable shape to nostalgic little treasures to fill your shelves. While there, also check out the Eleanor Voorhees and Christina Sorace MacKinnon gallery spaces nearby for beautiful modern art.
A fun, funky, slightly witchy consignment homewares shop with an unexpectedly great vinyl selection.
A peaceful, scenic path along the Delaware Canal — perfect for a morning stroll, bike ride, or simply stretching your legs while taking in the views.
Check out this casual food hall right in the center of New Hope - great for a quick bite, mid-day snack, or coffee between explorations.
Stop in for a tasting flight with local flair. Easygoing, friendly, and a perfect afternoon pause.
A bright breakfast and lunch spot that sources from local farms. Everything is fresh, comforting, and filling.
A charming spot for handmade cards, art prints, and candles that smell as beautiful as they look.
