Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is formal attire. We recommend a suit (or tux is optional, wedding party will be wearing tux's) for men and dresses (long, midi or short (bridal party is wearing long dresses)) for women. It may be chilly, so we also recommend that ladies bring a jacket, sweater or pashmina, etc. We will be on grass for the reception, so please keep that in mind when picking footwear. Wedges, flats or block heels are recommended.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will hopefully be sunny and in the 50's-60's. We recommend bringing a layer, both for the welcome party where we'll be oceanside and for the wedding reception where we'll be pond-side.

Is Uber/Lyft available?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are limited in Weekapaug this time of year. Have both downloaded for better luck but we wouldn't recommend relying on this option, if you're able to get a ride through Uber or Lyft, it usually takes significantly longer than usual for them to get to you as there are not very many in the area this time of year. However, you can get an Uber or Lyft from the PVD airport to Weekapaug. We highly recommend scheduling transportation in advance with a local taxi if you won't have a car while in Westerly/Weekapaug. Will transportation be provided?

Partially! There will be some shuttle service on the wedding day. Please check the Travel & Shuttles page for details.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

For the Welcome Party, you can park at The Andrea. The Watch Hill Chapel has parking available in the grass lot just to the left of the Chapel for the ceremony. There will also be valet parking at the Weekapaug Inn for the reception.

Do I need a negative Covid-19 test to attend?

Answer

Yes, please get a rapid test within 48 hours of the wedding.
