Those staying on site may arrive on Friday and get comfortable in your cabin. We ask that the Rehearsal Dinner is only attended by those in the ceremony so we can be best prepared for the day of. As the sun sets, we invite all guests to join us to start the celebrations off with a small bonfire or a gathering in the Rec Hall (weather dependent).
As Tom Piper put it "Rustic is fun. Rustic is good. But it’s also rustic." Each cabin has a double or queen bed with additional beds or bunks depending on the size of the cabin. They all also include a kitchen with a fridge, sink, two-burner stove, toaster, microwave, and coffee-maker. There is a 1/2 bath in each cabin and a shared showerhouse in the field. The heating source is a small woodstove. Only a few cabins have hot water, so there is a hot water spigot on site or you can boil water to heat it. Please consider if this is the right fit for your needs for the weekend! We want as many folks to enjoy the spirit of Wulamat as possible, but also would like everyone to be comfortable
We would like everyone to be comfortable, but are asking folks to consider semi-formal attire. Therefore we are calling it "Autumn Relaxed Semi Formal." If you are confused what this means--because it is made up!--take a look at our Pinterest board https://pin.it/12qmKMTAe.
Please feel free to dress how you'd like the rest of the weekend! We have had some very warm October weekends and others that are windy and cool. Therefore we recommend that you plan to bring layers.
While we are still working out the details, we have the current plan of only providing dinner Saturday night. We will also have S'mores, candy, ice cream, and snacks for late night. The remaining meals can be coordinated amongst friends/families or you can head to Bristol for some local bites!
There is a grocery store and several gas stations in the town of Bristol, about 10 minutes from camp. These might be a little pricier, but are good options. If you are traveling up 93 and have come prepared with a cooler, Tilton will have many more options. In addition, Plymouth is about 25 minutes north of camp with several grocery stores.
