Pensacola is part of the Emerald Coast, and is known for its beautiful white sand beaches! Zach proposed while we sat on the beach here, and we did a fake proposal the day after on the pier (ask him about that story lol). Take some time to drive out there, take a photo of the beach ball, dip your toes in the Gulf, walk the pier, and grab some lunch at the Casino Beach Bar & Grill (one of our faves!).
Downtown has SO much to offer, all within walking distance (including the wedding! AHH!). Walk down Palafox and take in everything the main strip has to offer. If you're hungry, we HIGHLY recommend trying: - Graffiti Pizza - Jaco's Bayfront Grille (you can't go wrong w/ the Jaco's Tacos!) - Zach recommends stopping for a frozen lemonade at the Perennial bar
We love Seville Square so much, we're literally getting married there. Seriously. It's Zach's dream come true. - Lucy's in the Square is always a first stop (you can even grab a drink to go on your way to check out Palafox!) - Dharma Blue is a must if you're a sushi fan. Tell the sushi guys we sent you! - If you're needing a drink, check out Hub Stacey's or Pensacola Bay Brewery
Pensacola is the official home of the Blue Angels, and if you haven't seen them fly you're missing out! We're lucky enough to live across the bayou from the Naval base, and can literally see them from our front yard when they fly over during practice. You can learn about them at the amazing Naval Aviation Museum on base, which has recently opened back up the public. Depending on how long you're staying in town, you might can even catch a practice show during the week! You can watch from base, but our favorite place to watch is from the beach right in our neighborhood!
