What is the attire?
Answer
Our wedding is cocktail attire. For men, we suggest to wear a suit (tie optional) or slacks with a dress shirt and sports jacket. For women, we suggest to wear a cocktail dress or dressy jumpsuit.

Is either the ceremony or reception outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, with an outdoor, rooftop option at the reception.

What time does the wedding begin?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. We kindly ask that you arrive to the ceremony 15-20 minutes before the start time to get a preferred seat.

How do I get to and from the wedding?
Answer
If staying in downtown Athens, the church is walking distance from all hotel block options. If staying elsewhere in Athens, we recommend Uber or Lyft to get to the church. The reception is one block from the church and a very short walk! If not staying in Athens, free parking is available at the church's guest lot. The lot is located at 140 W Hancock Avenue and will be gated. Please enter the parking code "0720" to gain access to the lot on our wedding day. Cars can be left until 7 a.m. Sunday morning, but will be towed after that to allow for Sunday church guests to park.

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
Children are unfortunately not invited to the wedding ceremony or reception. The Georgia Theatre is a multi-story concert venue that is not ideal for children. Please let us know if we can help you coordinate childcare in Athens!
