Semi-formal/dressy casual: festive cocktail dresses or sundresses, suits, sports coats or dress shirt and slacks. Make sure your shoes are comfortable for being outdoors.
While we love kiddos (especially yours!), we kindly request that the reception be adults only. Shuttles and parking on site are both options for guests: Shuttle service will be available from Edenton, NC. Should wish to use a shuttle, please be at one of the following shuttle locations between 3:45-4:30 p.m. -Penelope Barker House Welcome Center, 505 S. Broad Street, Edenton NC Parking is available around downtown Edenton. Restrooms are available at the park across the street from the Barker House. -Hampton Inn, Edenton NC for hotel guests *Return shuttles will be available between 9-11 p.m. Parking will also be available at the Skinner's home in Hertford (181 Wallace Hobbs Road). Should you wish to park on site, please arrive prior to 5 p.m. Should you wish to park on site and take a return shuttle home, you are welcome to leave your vehicle and return to pick it up the next morning.
