Where should we stay?

Answer

The closest hotel is LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Lackawanna. However, there are dozens of hotels within 20 minutes of the venue. The highest concentration of hotels and food is by the Buffalo airport. We've had family stay at Fairfield by Marriott, which is right across from the airport, and they had a great experience. Additionally, it is the off season for AirBnB so you may find some good deals with a more comfortable stay. If you are struggling to find accommodations let us know, we're happy to help!

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

The easiest way will be by car. At the Botanical Gardens they will have signs for event parking right next to the guest entrance! Guests will enter through the back of the conservatory, instead of through the usual front entrance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone dress at least classy casual! But really we just want everyone to wear what makes them most comfortable! (If you really need a specific dress code to work off of, most of our guests will be in cocktail attire)

What is the menu for the reception?

Answer

During the cocktail hour we will have some crudite and charcuterie, as well as drinks. For dinner, guests can help themselves to a make your own taco bar. The options at the taco bar include rice and beans, pollo asado, and carne asada, in addition to chips and salsa and all the fixings. The bar will be stocked with soda, iced tea, lemonade and water, wine and beer.

Can I take my shoes off during the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately no, you cannot take your shoes off! The Botanical Gardens has a strict shoes on policy. Please wear comfortable shoes, or bring a pair of comfortable shoes to change into.

Do you prefer gifts from the registry, or cash?

Answer

We would prefer cash, however we would be very happy to receive gifts from our registry! We greatly appreciate any and all gifts!
